
Three years ago, a guidance counselor told Kevin Sergeon he was not college material and suggested he consider vocational training.He had just graduated high school with a 1.9 grade point average.
This week, Sergeon proved the counselor wrong, graduating with high honors from Union County College with an associate’s degree in biology. In addition, he’s been accepted to Cornell University
