I have been a fan of the local NBC affiliate in Washington, DC. For years they have done a good job with diversity and hiring persons of color. Some have regular fixed anchor positions, and others do investigative reporting or fill-in the anchor desk when the regulars are away. I’m not sure how this station compares to others nationwide, but there are 9 of them (us) represented (and there are many other minority groups represented as well in addition to these individuals):
