Far too many black men who have committed crimes, paid their debt to society, and turned their lives around are having great difficulty finding jobs. Watch this story of one man who has decided he will not let his criminal past hold him back from providing a better life for his family...George Cook

This is why I am in the process of contacting my states' officals for this very thing. I to live in Ohio and this gentleman is not exaggerating at all! Allot of people assume that everyone has comitted a felony have nothing better or want nothing better for themselves other then to be criminals. Ohio is really poor on hiring felons even though if and when they do they get a very handsome tax break for doing so. But no one stops and thinks about what the down side of this is...if a felon cannot provide properly and legally for himself and or his family guess what will be waiting on him/her with open arms? There needs to be more true rehabilitating programs that will provide felons with the oppertunity not to be a burden on society and tax payers as well. If the governement looked at the figures on how much more revenue would be aquired from those who are felons with employment verses felons without; I'd be willing to bet that it would be more interesting to them all! But as long as it does not get put in "their" faces and made a public issue no one will do a thing about it!
