Has Pres. Obama done a good job concerning Hurrican Irene?

Let's forget political affiliation for a minute a look at this with an objective eye. Do you believe that President Obama has done a good job in warning the American Public about Hurricane Irene as well as making sure that federal resources and emergency financial aid are available to the states?

I would have thought that warning citizens of the storm would have been the job of local media and governments. let us not kid ourselves comparing this to Katrina. How many Katrina "victims" would have tuned into a TV to hear Bush speak? The weather channel and local TV told those people to get out of there days before it hit, it is not like anyone was surprised by Katrina

The major problem with Katrina was lack of communication between the government officials and the residents affected. Afterwards, it was the lack of an immediate response
The people that suffered the most were the aged and poor. I do believe if Pres Bush had went on TV, it would have been taken more seriously. The people will follow their leader. Also, it is a disgrace that America has not rebuilt the area. Think of the missed corporate and job opportunities. Why are celebrities sponsoring developments which is a good thing.t
The insurance companies also take took advantage of loopholes. After last year's heavy rain Allstate refused my claim for a flooded basement. I need flood insurance and the storm was not declared a flood.
