Black History Month + Red Tails = Class Trip

Okay it's Black History Month or as it is now known National African American History Month. Many teachers will go over the old reliables Martin Luther King Jr, George Washington Carver, Harriet Tubman, President Obama, etc.

With the release of the movie Red Tails teachers and schools have a unique opportunity to take their students to see history come to life. What could be better than a class trip to a movie theater that will get kids out of the monotony of sitting in a classroom and actually teach them something?

Red Tails is a movie all kids should see regardless of race as it is part of American History. So with that said I am asking all teachers and principals to take their students to see Red Tails and take advantage to teach our kids about true American Heroes.

I would love for you to post below in the comment box if you plan to take your students to see Red Tails
