Creflo Dollar arrested for assaulting daughter

UPDATE: 06/10/12 Before his sermon on Sunday Pastor Creflo Dollar briefly addressed his congregation about his arrest for allegedly choking and punching his daughter. Watch that video here: Creflo denies beating daughter

Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar was arrested in suburban Atlanta for an alleged assault on his 15-year-old daughter, police said Friday.
Deputies in Georgia's Fayette County responded to a call about a domestic disturbance about 1 a.m. Friday. Dollar's daughter said she argued with her father over attending a party, said Investigator Brent Rowan of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
The daughter says the argument got physical.
She told the deputies that her father charged her, put his hands around her throat and began to choke her, according to a police report. She said he then slammed her to the ground, punched her and beat her with his shoe.
Dollar's daughter was able to get away and dial 911, Rowan said.
Deputies noticed a scratch on the daughter's neck and arrested Dollar on charges of simple battery, family violence and child cruelty.
Deputies also spoke with another daughter, 19, who corroborated her sister's account of what happened.

she got her butt whooped. I had to do that once. Sad is that they rather see you in jail, child gone wild. As to him choking her that's extreme but these kids will push you there.

What he should have done, the next morning, was to send her off to a boarding school in Europe. Pay up until she reaches the age of eighteen .

I dont see a reason for a parent to choke a child out or slam them down to the ground unless they were putting me at harm. The Bible says Spare the rod you hate your child. It also says that parents are not to provoke their child either. He should have waited until they both cooled off and then whooped her but, but not while he was angry. When you are angry you tend to say and do things that you later regret.

I will not judge because iam NOT GOD and the only people that know the whole truth are them and whoever that was there when it happened but what I will do is pray for them.
